Sharla Did It!
Just this past weekend Sharla qualified for Regionals in not only one, but two events. She ran the 1500 Friday morning and ran a personal best 6 seconds faster than she had ever run before crossing the finish line in 4:25. She was only 0.3 seconds away from the all time record at SUU. Then later that day she ran the 5000 and qualified for Regionals yet again, it was so exciting! She crossed the finish line in 16:35 shattering the all time school record (she had set) by about 17 seconds. We're so proud of her. Because she qualified for Regionals she'll get to go to Eugene, Oregon and race against the best on the west coast. (I'm also proud to say she beat every BYU athlete there)
We met on the track team, and it wasn't long before Shain stole my heart and we were married. We are so happy that we found eachother and that we share so much in common.
Cake Face
Shain thought it would be funny to smash my face with cake on our wedding night. The whole room went silent, and everyone thought I was going to be sooooo mad, but Shain knew I wasn't like that. He said, and I quote,"I wouldn't have married her if I knew she couldn't handle that."
Graduation
We did it. We finally graduated. Shain graduated with his Business Management degree, and Sharla graduated with her nursing degree.
Fun Run
Every year we go to the annual 24th of July Fun Run in Enterprise. Sharla always wins it.

Sharla won the 1500 M and the 5000 M runs at Conference this year, setting two new conference records and receiving Athlete of the Meet.
